Place liver in slow cooker. Add onions on top. Close lid and slowcook overnight in your slow cooker. Stir in stock and ketchup then bubble for 5. Thinly slice the liver and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
I love it done this way i ust do the spuds seperately. Will watch this to see how others do it. Cook the bacon in a large non stick frying pan until crisp. Remove from the pan then fry the onion until softened. Add the bacon liver and sausages into a slow cooker bowl including the fried flour bits that have come off the liver.
I do liver in the slow cooker and it comes out lovely. Fry the onion and bacon together in the oil for a few minutes to soften and then put the mixture in a casserole dish. Heat the oil in a pan add the liver bacon and onion and fry them until the liver is brown and the bacon and onion are soft and just beginning to colour. Reduce to low until you are ready to eat.
